Harry Kane is unstoppable. After his treble against Mainz 05, the Englishman also scored in the Bundesliga match against SV Darmstadt 98. In doing so, the striker not only set a personal best, but also broke an age-old record set by Uwe Seeler.

FC Bayern lead SV Darmstadt 98 2:1 at half-time. Harry Kane headed the Munich side in front in stoppage time of the first half after trailing at one stage.

Kane has now scored 31 goals in his first 26 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern. No other league debutant has scored so many goals in his first season. The 30-year-old top goalscorer has thus equalled Uwe Seeler’s age-old record. The German captain of honour scored the most goals of any player in his first Bundesliga season (30 in the 1963/64 season for HSV).

Kane has also achieved a new personal best. The attacker has scored more than 30 league goals in a season for the first time in his career. His previous record was 30 for Tottenham in a PL season.
