FC Bayern once again makes up a large portion of the German national team roster. National team coach Jürgen Klopp has announced his roster for the upcoming international break, including seven players from the German record champions. Particularly notable is the mix of experienced key players and young talents.
Alongside established national team players Joshua Kimmich and Jonathan Tah, the squad also includes Nathaniel Brown, Tom Bischof, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Lennart Karl, and goalkeeper Jonas Urbig. This makes FC Bayern the club with the strongest representation in the current DFB squad.
For the Munich club, the large number of nominations is also a testament to their athletic development. Despite the recent staffing challenges, several young players have caught the national team coach’s attention with their impressive performances.
Karl and Urbig back in the DFB squad

Lennart Karl, in particular, is likely to see his nomination as a sign of recognition. The 18-year-old had recently gone through a difficult phase and had to endure public criticism of his performances and his public image.
However, the talented forward made an impressive comeback in the 2-0 away win against Atlético Madrid. With his goal to make it 1-0, Karl put Munich on the path to victory and underscored his enormous potential.
Jonas Urbig also has reason to celebrate another call-up. The young goalkeeper has been filling in for the injured Manuel Neuer at FC Bayern in recent weeks, gaining valuable playing experience in the process.
The roster also includes two other young Bayern pros, Nathaniel Brown and Tom Bischof, who have increasingly established themselves in Munich.
Rounding out the Munich contingent are Joshua Kimmich, Jonathan Tah, and Aleksandar Pavlovic.
Bayern has the most national team players
With a total of seven players, FC Bayern is clearly in the lead among the clubs.
Borussia Dortmund has three players: Waldemar Anton, Nico Schlotterbeck, and Felix Nmecha. VfB Stuttgart is also well-represented with Finn Jeltsch and Maximilian Mittelstädt.
In addition to the established players, Klopp is also relying on numerous other young players. These include, among others, Said El Mala of 1. FC Köln and Brajan Gruda of RB Leipzig.
In attack, the national team coach is counting on Younes Ebnoutalib, Niclas Füllkrug, and Kai Havertz. Florian Wirtz of Liverpool FC is also part of the squad.
For Bayern, however, this strong presence in the DFB squad also poses an additional challenge. Given the numerous injuries, those at Säbener Straße will likely be watching closely to see how the national team players fare in the upcoming matches.
It is particularly important that the key players, who have been heavily relied upon recently, return to Munich in good health.
From a sporting perspective, however, the high number of nominations is a positive sign. No fewer than seven Bayern pros will have the chance to showcase their talents on the international stage and reinforce their claims to key roles on the national team.
