Harry Kane is staying with FC Bayern for the long term! On Thursday, the German record champions officially announced the contract extension with their English superstar through June 30, 2029. For the Munich club, the deal is a real transfer coup—albeit a costly one.
According to consistent media reports, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner could earn an annual salary of up to 30 million euros under his new contract. This would make the 33-year-old not only the highest-paid player in Bayern’s history but also the top earner in Europe.
From a sporting perspective, there are hardly any arguments against the contract extension. Since his move from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, Kane has scored an impressive 156 goals in 161 competitive matches. Added to that are numerous titles and individual honors, most recently winning the Ballon d’Or.
