This is positive news for FC Bayern! Harry Kane is able to take part in Munich’s team training again after his early departure from the England national team.

Top goalscorer Harry Kane has returned to team training at FC Bayern. This was reported by Sky.

The superstar had suffered a capsule injury in his ankle during the 5:2 Bundesliga win in Darmstadt. Despite this, he had travelled to the England national team. However, the 30-year-old captain was unable to play in the Three Lions‘ friendly against Brazil at Wembley Stadium in London. Kane then left early ahead of England’s second test match against Belgium and returned to Munich. There he has been training individually – now he has started training with the team.

This is a good sign for the German record champions ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga classic against Borussia Dortmund (6.30pm). Due to his injury, it was previously considered doubtful whether Kane would be able to play against BVB. However, a return to team training three days before the match may now give Munich coach Thomas Tuchel some cause for optimism.

Harry Kane is FC Bayern’s top scorer

The team could definitely make good use of top scorer Kane against Dortmund. Kane scored 37 goals in 35 competitive matches for Bayern and set up a further 12 goals. He scored 31 goals in the Bundesliga alone. He is chasing the record of Robert Lewandowski, who scored 41 times in one season.

Bayern are still ten points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen in second place in the Bundesliga. While Munich have to face the Black & Yellows at the Allianz Arena on matchday 27, the Werkself with coach Xabi Alonso face TSG Hoffenheim at home at 3.30 pm.
