The 32-year-old increased his Bundesliga tally to a total of 36 goals on the final matchday, taking him to 72 points in the European Sports Media (ESM) rankings
As a result, Kane clearly tops the list of the best European goalscorers and is likely to secure the prestigious award for the second time after 2023/24
What is particularly remarkable is that Kane also made Bundesliga history: no player has ever been top scorer in his first three Bundesliga seasons
The Englishman has now scored an incredible 98 goals in just 93 Bundesliga games

However, Kane was rested several times by Vincent Kompany during the intense Champions League weeks against Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain
