FC Bayern’s Alphonso Davies is rumoured to be on the verge of a move to Real Madrid. But the powerful Real president Florentino Pérez has now publicly asked: „Who is Davies?“
Alphonso Davies is apparently already in agreement with Real Madrid over a move to the Whites. The left-back’s contract in Munich expires in 2025. If Bayern do not want to lose him on a free transfer, they would have to agree a transfer fee with Real next summer.
However, the Spanish club is not yet willing to comment on the upcoming deal. Real president Florentino Pérez has now made this clear. A video appeared on social media in which Pérez can be seen taking selfies with fans. One of them asks the 77-year-old about the transfer of Davies. Pérez feigned ignorance and asked: „Who is Davies?“
„Who is Davies? Who is Mbappé?“ ⚪️🤨

The fan then also asked about superstar Kylian Mbappé, who was also rumoured to be on the verge of a move to Madrid. Pérez’s answer here too: „Who is Mbappé?“
Real is working on the new Galacticos
At Real Madrid, nothing happens without the powerful boss Pérez knowing about it or deciding it. But it has become clear: the strong man at the royal club does not want to let anyone look at his cards.
He may be building the new Galacticos right now: next summer, he could be lining up a whole series of top transfers. In addition to the interest in Davies and PSG attacker Mbappé, there are also repeated rumours about a possible transfer of top striker Erling Haaland to the Bernabeu.
This project also seems to appeal to Davies. The next step in the deal will be negotiations between the Munich bosses and those responsible at Real. Pérez will then also have a say. He will certainly remember who Davies is by then.
