Due to the fan ban imposed by UEFA, FC Bayern will have to do without all of its own supporters for the upcoming Champions League match at Arsenal FC (9 April). The Londoners have once again sent a clear warning to Munich ahead of the quarter-final first leg.

In just under two weeks, Thomas Tuchel and his team will host Arsenal FC at the Emirates Stadium. Bayern fans are looking forward to the game with great anticipation, but at the same time there is still resentment that the supporters of the German record champions will not be able to support their team in London.

The background to this is the UEFA fan ban. After Munich supporters violated the regulations of the European governing body by setting off fireworks, FC Bayern will have to play the away match without fans.

Bayern warns its own fans against buying tickets

Even if Bayern are not allowed to sell tickets for the away match, there are still ways to get hold of them. Numerous tickets can currently be found on several online ticket exchanges. These are tickets offered for sale by Arsenal fans. Prices for a ticket start at just under 400 euros.

However, FC Bayern is advising its fans not to organise tickets for the match in this way: „FC Arsenal has expressly informed FC Bayern that all supporters of the German record champions must be consistently turned away at the entrance to the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final in London on 9 April,“ the Munich club announced this week.

In plain language, this means that anyone who buys a ticket on the secondary market and tries to get into the Emirates Stadium wearing a Bayern jersey/scarf will have a poor chance. FC Bayern will only receive a limited number of tickets for its own delegation for the match.
