Only about 10,000 spectators can watch the game at the stadium. For the Bundesliga newcomer, the visit by the German record champion is one of the biggest games in the club’s history. Tickets were already in high demand when they went on official sale.
For many fans, there is now practically no way left to get a ticket through regular channels. About 87 percent of the seats reserved for home fans are allocated to season ticket holders. All season tickets are already sold out.
Although SV Elversberg operates an official secondary market where unwanted tickets can be legally resold, the likelihood of large quantities of tickets becoming available at short notice—especially for the Bayern game—is likely to be low.
Up to 3,000 euros for a Bayern ticket
Those who absolutely want to attend can still find tickets on unofficial ticket platforms—though at prices that bear little resemblance to the regular rates.
On Viagogo, for example, two tickets for the Bayern game were recently listed. The asking price for a seat behind the goal, including a VIP package, is 2,386 euros.
The price for a seat in section D2 is even more extreme: a single ticket there is listed at a whopping 2,857 euros.

These extreme offers highlight just how high the demand is for the match against the record champions. Elversberg has gotten off to an outstanding start in its first Bundesliga season and has caused a stir with victories over Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Now, FC Bayern—the league’s most prominent opponent—is coming to the small stadium. The combination of limited capacity and exceptionally high demand is apparently creating a market where sellers are trying to command enormous sums.

For fans still hoping to get a ticket, SV Elversberg’s official secondary market remains the significantly more affordable option. There, season ticket holders can release their seats if they are unable to attend the game.
