At FC Bayern, Aleksandar Pavlovic has long been more than just a promising talent. The 22-year-old has established himself in the record champion’s midfield and is now one of the most important players under Vincent Kompany. His development is apparently generating a great deal of interest even outside the Bundesliga. Several European powerhouses have set their sights on the German national team player.
Pavlovic appears to be particularly sought after in the Premier League. Manchester City and Manchester United are both keeping an eye on the Munich native. Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly closely monitoring his performances.
For Bayern, this interest could prove quite lucrative. However, letting the homegrown talent leave Säbener Straße is absolutely out of the question.
ManCity Inquires About Pavlovic
According to information from fussball-news.de, Manchester City in particular has recently stepped up its efforts to sign Pavlovic. The top English club is said to have already made initial contact to explore the basic possibilities of a transfer.
The Sky Blues are apparently willing to dig deep into their pockets. A transfer fee of around 100 million euros is reportedly well within Manchester City’s range.
In Munich, however, this interest has met with little enthusiasm. According to the report, club officials have already signaled that Pavlovic is not for sale.
No concrete negotiations between the clubs have taken place so far. Nor is there an official asking price. FC Bayern simply sees no reason to consider a sale.
Bayern sees Pavlovic as a future leader
The Munich club’s clear stance is primarily based on sporting reasons. Pavlovic embodies exactly the type of player Kompany relies on in central midfield.
The German national team player impresses with his vision, technical ability, and his capacity to control the game even under pressure from opponents. At the same time, despite his young age, he is taking on more and more responsibility.
Internally, there is even confidence that this homegrown talent will one day wear the captain’s armband at FC Bayern. Pavlovic is therefore crucial to the record champion’s long-term plans.

Contractually, there is no pressure to act. The 22-year-old is under contract with his youth club through the summer of 2029. His current market value is estimated at around 90 million euros.
The fact that Manchester City is apparently even willing to exceed this figure does nothing to change Bayern’s stance.
A transfer for Pavlovic is not on the table at this time
In addition to the club’s clear stance, the player’s own situation also argues against an imminent departure. Pavlovic is happy in Munich and reportedly has no current plans to leave FC Bayern.
This means that interested clubs are likely to have a tough time for the time being. Real Madrid, PSG, and the two clubs from Manchester will continue to monitor the midfielder’s development, but a concrete transfer is not on the horizon at this time.
For FC Bayern, it is clear that Pavlovic is expected to play a key role in the coming years. Even an offer in the hundreds of millions doesn’t seem capable of changing that at the moment.
