As a result, he missed not only the final stretch of last season but also the World Cup.
Now Gnabry is back! Over the past few weeks, he has been able to gradually increase his training load. However, there was still a residual risk regarding the muscles that had recently been injured. For that reason, the decision on whether he was ready to rejoin the squad was made on a game-by-game basis in consultation with the player.
But now Bayern fans can breathe a sigh of relief, because Gnabry is back in the lineup and will make his comeback today. It’s unclear how many minutes the attacking player has in the tank yet, but he’s actually fit because he’s been building up his fitness for a long time now.
