Several players who were on loan to other clubs last season are expected to leave FC Bayern this summer. Among them is Alexander Nübel, who was on loan to Stuttgart. Now there are new developments.
FC Bayern hasn’t received many inquiries about the goalkeeper recently. Besiktas has been courting Nübel intensively for quite some time, though he was initially a bit skeptical about a move to the Turkish Süper Lig.
The Turkish club has already been in talks with the player’s representatives and with FC Bayern, and is said to have verbally communicated its intention to submit an offer of five million euros plus five million in bonus payments.
However, this sum is not yet enough for FC Bayern. They value Nübel at around 15–20 million euros.

Now, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports that while the Turkish club’s offer has not changed, Besiktas is said to have reached a basic agreement with the goalkeeper regarding a transfer.

This is definitely a step forward in the negotiations surrounding the goalkeeper, who did not perform well for the German national team at the 2026 World Cup.
FC Bayern has already made it unmistakably clear to Nübel that he is not expected at the start of training in Munich and has urged him and his advisors to find a solution by that time. However, for such a solution to be found in a timely manner, Besiktas must still increase its offer.
It seems highly unlikely that FC Bayern would agree to a deal of this magnitude at this stage. Nübel himself, meanwhile, might be hoping that another option will present itself for him over the coming days or weeks. Rumors about Juventus or the Premier League have surfaced repeatedly, but nothing has ever materialized.
