FC Bayern is going full throttle in the transfer market. Following the signing of Ismael Saibari, the Munich club has finalized its next summer transfer with Nathaniel Brown.
It’s official! FC Bayern has signed DFB star Nathaniel Brown from league rival Eintracht Frankfurt, as the record champions announced today, Friday. The 23-year-old left back has signed a five-year contract with FCB through 2031.
According to consistent media reports, Bayern is paying a fixed transfer fee of 50 million euros for the defender. With variable bonus payments, this could rise to as much as 55 million euros. This makes Brown the most expensive left-back in Bundesliga history.
Up to 12.5 percent of the transfer fee (approximately 6.25 million euros) will go to his former club, 1. FC Nürnberg.
Bayern snags Brown
Brown came up through the youth ranks at 1. FC Nürnberg. In the summer of 2022, he made his professional debut with the second-division club and has made 43 appearances for the “Clubberer.” In the summer of 2024, he transferred to Eintracht Frankfurt. The defender made 75 appearances for Eintracht, including eight in the Champions League and four in the Europa League.
In October 2025, the rising star made his debut for the national team, earned a spot in the World Cup starting lineup, and has made eight international appearances (1 goal) to date.
