FC Bayern could make a big splash on the transfer market next summer. According to the latest media reports, the Munich club are preparing a large-scale buying offensive – with prominent names and a huge budget
According to the transfer portal Fichajes, the German record champions are planning a massive transfer attack in the summer, with up to 200 million euros earmarked for three dream players. The focus is on Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dortmund’s defender Nico Schlotterbeck
Should these plans materialize, it would be one of the biggest transfer offensives in the club’s recent history – and a clear signal that Bayern are looking to strengthen their squad in several key positions
Diomande as the king transfer of the offense
According to information from Fichajes, Yan Diomande would swallow up the largest part of the budget. Bayern are said to be prepared to invest up to 100 million euros for the attacking player from RB Leipzig. Diomande is considered one of the most exciting attackers of his generation in the league and has played his way into the limelight with strong performances in the Bundesliga and internationally
At Säbener Straße, Diomande is evidently seen as a player who can take the attack to a new level – especially with a view to long-term squad planning. Although the Leipzig man is still under long-term contract, he is anything but unsellable should a suitable offer be on the table
In addition to offense, Bayern bosses are also clearly looking at the defense. Nico Schlotterbeck is said to remain at the top of the list. The Borussia Dortmund center-back has been linked with a move to Munich for some time. According to Fichajes, those responsible hope to be able to lure the DFB international away for around 50 million euros, a scenario that is likely to depend heavily on Schlotterbeck’s own future decision at BVB
