FC Barcelona are apparently preparing an offer for Leon Goretzka from FC Bayern. According to the Spanish portal Fichajes, the Catalans are willing to put over €30 million on the table for the Bayern star. This is certainly a price proposal that would be favourably received in Munich, as Goretzka is only tied to the club until the summer of 2026.
FC Bayern themselves are also said to be not averse to selling the 29-year-old. According to recent reports, the ex-Schalker is not on the hit list, but the club would be willing to negotiate if they received a reasonably priced bid.
Juventus Turin and West Ham also interested in Leon Goretzka
In addition to FC Barcelona, Goretzka may have some interesting transfer options. The hottest lead currently leads to Italy. According to information from kicker, the former Schalke player is particularly coveted by Juventus. Several representatives of the „Old Lady“ visited Bayern’s Champions League second leg against Lazio Roma (3:0) at the Allianz Arena to get a personal impression of Goretzka. However, it remains unclear whether there is a concrete enquiry for him.
Another, but much less hot lead than to Barcelona or Turin, leads to London. West Ham United are also still looking for a defensive midfielder. Goretzka was already on the Hammers‘ wish list last summer after Declan Rice left for neighbours Arsenal FC.
