5-0 DFB Pokal humiliation, early elimination against Villareal in the UEFA Champions League, one year after being announced as the Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann is already under heavy pressure and criticism.

According to SPORT BILD, Julian Nagelsmann is planning a „revolution“ at the club. The club is already working on new transfers while the coach is trying to fix the mistakes and prepare the players well for the new season. A season with just one title is not enough for the ambitious coach.

Nagelsmann plans to introduce a new „point system“ which will determine who will be starters and in order to set new stimuli. The coaching staff will evaluate the performance of the pros during the exercises. The goal is to add new impulses for the players in training. The points will determine which player will start, especially if the result is tight.

The team spirit should also be strengthened. After home games in Munich, a restaurant in the city center is to be rented regularly. All players and employees are then invited on a voluntary basis.

When it comes to tactics, Nagelsmann thinks to experiment less in the new season. The players should be satisfied, but they will still have to learn basic exercises when it comes to the back three, or even back four defense.

But it is also clear that there will be no turning away from the three-man defense. Nagelsmann will keep using it, but not as much as this season. The head coach changed his system nine times in the Bundesliga during the second halves. This should not happen again.
