Bayern Munich have wrapped up their first transfer for this summer. It has now been confirmed from sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.
Salihamidzic and Mazraoui themselves confirmed last week that the move was on its way to being one hundred percent completed. Bayern’s sports director announced on Sunday for the „SPORT1 Doppelpass“, the final details have been clarified and the transfer is now a done deal: „The deal is through and done,“ he said.
Nagelsmann gets his dream player
The 24-year-old Moroccan is moving from Ajax Amsterdam to the German record champions on a free transfer and will play there as a right-back. Mazraoui is considered Julian Nagelsmann’s dream player for the right side of the defense and is much more offensive than Benjamin Pavard. The Frenchman is to be used in central defense in the future.
