Rumor: Bayern could sell Gnabry if no agreement reached, the Ajax winger could replace him

Over the past couple of months, Bayern have attempted to extend with Serge Gnabry, but without a success. Now, the club should be moving seriously in the coming months and preparing for any scenario.

Serge Gnabry has not been able to perform consistently over the past two seasons. His drop in the performances has also been noted within the board and the officials demand him to show more great performances. Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane were able to come back from their setbacks and now they are Bayern’s top performers.

Gnabry, who’s had two brilliant first seasons, hasn’t been able to keep up the form that he had in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. Although Bayern do want to extend him, they won’t stay on his way if an agreement is not soon reached.

Antony could replace Gnabry

Bayern should be making serious moves in the coming months if Gnabry and Bayern don’t agree on a contract extension. Apart from the financial details, the club also wants their player to perform consistently. But they will have to make their stance that no player is irreplaceable and the same should go for Gnabry. According to ‚SPORTBILD‘, Bayern could sell Serge Gnabry in the summer if no agreement is reached.

The money from Gnabry’s sale should be used to buy another winger as his replacement. The Ajax star Antony has been made the top wing priority should Gnabry leave in the summer.
