FC Bayern wants to sign Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt. The left-footed player has already reached an agreement with the record champions, but there is still no deal between the Hessian club and FCB. And that poses a risk.
Because as long as there’s no agreement between the clubs, other teams naturally have the chance to still play a role in the bidding war for the defender.
And that exactly seems to be the case now. As Sky revealed in its Transfer Update, Arsenal and Chelsea have expressed concrete interest in the player.

The two top English teams are actively looking to strengthen their defenses. There hasn’t been any concrete dialogue yet, but if Bayern continues to make no progress, the two Premier League heavyweights are standing by.
At Eintracht, officials are currently surprised that there have been no major advances in negotiations. The ball is in FC Bayern’s court, but the record champions are taking their time, even though it’s clear what the Hessian club is demanding.
The total transfer fee package is reportedly in the range of 55 million euros. The main sticking point is the payment structure—specifically, the fixed amount, the size of the bonuses, and how much money will be paid out this summer.

However, there’s likely no cause for panic yet at the record champions. As was emphasized once again during the broadcast, Brown still only wants to join Bayern. That is his absolute priority; he hasn’t even considered other options yet.
For this reason, while the interest from the English giants is certainly catching Munich’s attention, it’s certainly not causing any nerves. Nevertheless, Max Eberl and his team would be well advised to meet Frankfurt’s demands soon—or at least take a clear step toward reaching an agreement with the Hessian club.
