Kane on the hunt for big names
With his goal, Kane has now made it to tenth place on the list of all-time Bayern goalscorers. He has already overtaken big names such as Claudio Pizarro and Franck Ribery in the course of the season. The list is headed by Gerd Müller (570 goals), followed by Robert Lewandowski (344 goals) and Thomas Müller (250 goals). He won’t catch up with these three players any time soon, but there are marks that are certainly realistic
Arjen Robben is currently in eighth place with 144 goals, Dieter Hoeneß in seventh place with 145 goals. Kane will normally break these marks quite soon. Depending on how long the Englishman stays with Bayern, he could even finish in the top five. Karl-Heinz Rummenogige is in fifth place with 217 goals in 422 games
If you now consider the great influence that Kane also has outside of pure goals, the transfer that Bayern made at the time becomes even bigger and more significant.
