Rumors surrounding Dani Olmo and FC Bayern continue to circulate. Now there are new details regarding potential interest.
Dani Olmo has been linked to FC Bayern time and again for years. Most recently, speculation surrounding the FC Barcelona attacking star had picked up steam once more. Now, however, there is new information that suggests an imminent move to Munich is unlikely.
As Sky reports , Olmo is not currently a concrete topic of discussion at the German record champions. According to the report, there are neither talks nor concrete efforts on the part of the Munich club. There is also said to have been a clear denial from the Spaniard’s inner circle.
Olmo himself is reportedly happy at FC Barcelona. The 28-year-old is under a long-term contract with the Catalans through 2030. A move this coming winter is currently out of the question.
Of particular interest is Bayern’s assessment of Olmo’s susceptibility to injury. The attacking player is currently sidelined once again with a muscle injury in the adductor region. Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg made it clear that this very point plays a significant role in Munich.
“He’s a great player. But he’s simply too injury-prone for the financial package involved. Bayern knows that, which is why they’ve never really made a serious move for him,” he explained.

This new information thus contrasts with the numerous rumors of the past few weeks. Just recently, Olmo had once again been linked to a possible move to FC Bayern. Among other things, this was prompted by a meeting between Barça sporting director Deco and Olmo’s agent, Juanma López.

While Olmo is generally regarded as a player whose qualities are appreciated at FC Bayern, a signing does not appear to be actively being pursued at this time.

Later, during his years at RB Leipzig, there was also interest from Munich. His agent had even recently confirmed that the Spaniard had turned down Bayern twice in the past.
