It wasn’t long ago that FC Bayern extended the contract of attacking star Serge Gnabry, who had played a very good season until his injury. So good, in fact, that a big name has taken notice of him
Gnabry is currently suffering from an adductor muscle injury that will keep him out of action until after the World Cup. The clear plan is for him to return to full fitness during the summer, i.e. while he is still preparing for the new season
But at which club? After the extension, everything actually pointed to Gnabry, who feels very comfortable in Munich, staying at Bayern
Gnabry on Arsenal’s list?
But now a report from Sportsboom is causing confusion. According to the report, FC Arsenal, Gnabry’s former club, have the player on their list. Gnabry played in England at a young age, celebrated his first steps in professional soccer at Arsenal and moved from there to the Bundesliga, where he eventually ended up in Munich

Before his injury, Gnabry was directly involved in 21 goals in 37 games and was important for the team. He now plays more often in the center than on the wing, feels very comfortable there and can also set the tone when pressing. But back to the Arsenal interest: According to the report, the matter is not really concrete yet, but he is exactly one of the players Arsenal are looking at for the summer
The Gunners could make some changes to their attacking options. Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz have all been linked with a move recently. An experienced Gnabry could play a role in that. If an offer really does come in, Bayern would apparently be willing to talk at €30-35 million
For now, however, there is not much to suggest a summer departure and Gnabry wants to concentrate on his recovery.
