At the same time, he asked the crucial question: „Why is FC Bayern taking so long? If they are happy with Max Eberl, then they could actually extend his contract. FC Bayern also had their eye on Markus Krösche a year and a half or two years ago. That would be an even bigger step up.“
The coming months could therefore point the way forward. The decisive factor will be whether the Bayern bosses continue to back Eberl or look for a new impetus in the sporting management.
