Breakthrough in Turin
While he never made the leap to the pros in Munich, Yildiz quickly developed into a top performer at Juventus Turin
In the current season, the attacking player has scored a strong 20 points in 39 competitive matches, and his development has not gone unnoticed by the club – he only extended his long-term contract until 2030 in February
Yildiz also made a clear decision at international level, opting for the Turkish national team early on despite his German roots
The reasons for this apparently also lie in his experiences in Germany: „In Germany, I wasn’t considered good enough, they always nominated other players.“
