As reported by Turkish transfer expert Ekrem Konur, FC Bayern are also intensively involved with the 19-year-old midfielder from Trabzonspor. The German record champions are thus joining a prominent list of interested parties, which is said to include Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and PSV Eindhoven
Oulai has established himself at a remarkable pace in the Süper Lig this season. Despite his young age, the central midfielder is now a regular for his club and has impressed with his maturity, dynamism and intelligence. Trabzonspor demand mega transfer fee
Chelsea are said to be particularly far along in their pursuit of the Ivorian youngster. According to media reports, the Blues have made an offer of around 40 million euros. Galatasaray also tried to keep Oulai in Turkey, but failed with an offer of 20 million euros. Trabzonspor rebuffed both attempts and instead sent a clear signal to the market
The traditional club is demanding at least 50 million euros for its midfield jewel – a sum that makes it clear how important Oulai is internally. Trabzonspor is receiving a boost from the player’s contractual situation. Oulai is still tied until 2030, which means the club feels no pressure to sell and can negotiate from a strong position
For FC Bayern, this raises the fundamental question of strategic positioning. For some time now, Munich have been increasingly focusing on a mixture of top talents capable of development and immediate quality.
