Since a supervisory board meeting on Monday, FC Bayern has once again been considering whether to keep Thomas Tuchel. However, not all bosses are convinced that Tuchel will stay after all.
FC Bayern’s supervisory board met late on Monday afternoon to clarify the next steps in the search for a coach. Since then, the possibility of Thomas Tuchel remaining at the club has reportedly been discussed again. As reported by the Münchner Abendzeitung, however, there is said to be a kind of opposition among those responsible at Bayern, as was the case with Nagelsmann. Back then, it was former CEO and supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge who spoke out against a renewed commitment from the national coach.
However, it is not clear from the report who now doubts Tuchel’s continued employment. According to the report, however, it is clear that further talks would have to take place for Tuchel to actually remain Bayern coach.
However, the AZ refuted reports that a second term in office for sixth-top coach Hansi Flick at FC Bayern was no longer an issue following the most recent supervisory board meeting. According to the paper, this solution is not off the table either, even if not everyone in the Munich boardroom is completely convinced by Flick.
Leading players have spoken out in favour of Thomas Tuchel
However, Tuchel still appears to have the full backing of the team. According to Sky reports, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller have even spoken out in favour of keeping their current coach.

As Sky reporter Kerry Hau reported, the players are of the opinion that they have learnt a lot from Tuchel, even if not everything has gone well this season. His assistants, especially Anthony Barry, are also very popular with the team.
