FC Bayern would like to make additional changes in the forward line next summer. According to consistent media reports, Victor Osimhen from SSC Napoli is high on the Munich wish list. As has now become known, the transfer poker for the 24-year-old is really picking up speed at the record champions.
FC Bayern have been rumoured to be interested in Victor Osimhen for years. According to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, the Munich club could make a concrete attempt to lure the Italian striker to Säbener Straße next summer.
According to Plettenberg, the topic between Bayern and the Nigerian striker is heating up. According to the report, initial talks have already been held with his management and these will continue.
Bayern wants to reduce transfer fee through a swap deal
According to reports, Osimhen himself is open to a move to FC Bayern. The problem, however, is that the Nigerian is currently too expensive for Bayern, with a reported transfer fee of between 100 and 130 million euros.
Interestingly, as Plettenberg has learned, those responsible in Munich are trying to push down the transfer fee. According to this, FCB is also discussing a swap deal with Napoli. In other words: In addition to a transfer fee of X, the Bavarians would add another player to secure Osimhen’s services.
The list of possible exchange candidates is long at FC Bayern. Players like Sadio Mané or Serge Gnabry are not considered unsellable by the record champions. Leroy Sane could also be a possible candidate for such a deal.
One thing is clear: Bayern must put everything they have on the line. In addition to FCB, there are numerous other interested parties for Osimhen. Manchester United, in particular, are said to be intensively interested in the 24-year-old. The Red Devils are said to be willing to spend more than 100 million euros for a new top goal scorer.
