FC Bayern are continuing to sound out the transfer market intensively – and a Paris Saint-Germain player is now apparently coming into focus. A possible summer transfer could become a topic of discussion before the direct duel in the Champions League.
As TEAMtalk reports, Munich are currently monitoring Bradley Barcola’s situation very closely. According to the report, the French attacking player’s advisors have also begun to examine possible options for a move to the club in the background. However, there are no concrete negotiations with FC Bayern as yet.
An explosive situation: Barcola and PSG will face the German record champions in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final at the Allianz Arena next Wednesday – a clash that will not only be a sporting focal point, but will also attract additional attention with regard to the 23-year-old’s future.

Bayern’s interest in Barcola is by no means new. Those responsible were already intensively involved with the winger last summer, when there were reportedly even concrete talks with the player’s side before PSG blocked a move and Munich ultimately signed Luis Diaz.
According to TEAMtalk, Bayern are still in contact with the player’s entourage in order to be able to react quickly if the worst comes to the worst. Barcola is a type of player who fits the bill perfectly: fast, technically strong and flexible in attack.
However, a potential deal remains complicated. On the one hand, the Frenchman still has a long-term contract with PSG until 2028. On the other hand, the transfer fee is likely to play a decisive role. In the past, there has already been talk of sums in the region of around 100 million euros – a price that currently seems difficult for Bayern to afford.
In addition, there is the sporting perspective. In Munich, Barcola would have to face a top-class attacking squad in which players such as Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Luis Diaz are set. An immediate guarantee of a regular place would hardly be realistic.
Whether a spectacular transfer actually takes place depends on many factors – above all on the developments surrounding Barcola at PSG in the coming months.
