FC Bayern are continuing to sound out the market for the defense of the future – and they have been offered a highly talented player
According to Sport BILD, Luka Vuskovic has recently been offered to the record champions. The 18-year-old centre-back is under contract with Tottenham Hotspur and is currently on loan to Hamburger SV. Despite his young age, the Croatian international is already one of the most striking defensive players in the Bundesliga. According to the report, his development is not going unnoticed at Säbener Straße, even if a potential transfer is not yet a priority
Vuskovic is regarded as a modern centre-back with good physicality, strong positioning and remarkable composure on the ball. In Hamburg, he adapted quickly and performed consistently at a high level – qualities that are also generally appreciated at FC Bayern. Nevertheless, the current course of action is clear: Munich are continuing to monitor Vuskovic’s development without entering into any concrete negotiations

This also has to do with the overall situation. Tottenham are planning for the long term with Vuskovic and see him as an important building block for the future. The Croatian’s contract runs until 2030, which would make a potential deal complicated and expensive anyway. In addition, Bayern have already partially determined their defensive planning for the coming years and are currently prioritizing other profiles

However, this does not mean that the topic is off the table for good. Vuskovic is known to FC Bayern, has been actively offered and is on the radar. Should the personnel situation in defence change or the market open up new opportunities, the name could become more important again. For the time being, however, Bayern remain on the lookout.
