„I don’t know Julian Nagelsmann personally. I don’t know what the situation is like in the search for a new coach. We have the utmost respect for Thomas Tuchel. The club has to look for the new coach. We are very focussed on playing the season with Thomas Tuchel. The decision on Tuchel’s successor will be the right one in the end,“ said Kane in the press conference ahead of the Premier League clash.

Munich have had an occasionally disappointing season under Thomas Tuchel. Bayer Leverkusen have already been crowned German champions in the Bundesliga and the German record champions were eliminated in the second round of the DFB Cup.
