With the end of the season fast approaching and Thomas Tuchel’s departure as FC Bayern Munich coach imminent, discussions about his successor are intensifying. In the midst of this speculation, Bayern’s star striker Harry Kane comments on the situation and the possible return of Julian Nagelsmann.

Ahead of FC Bayern’s crucial Champions League match against Arsenal, star striker Harry Kane has commented on the ongoing coaching discussions. At the moment, there seem to be increasing signs that Julian Nagelsmann will be brought back.

„I don’t know Julian Nagelsmann personally. I don’t know what the situation is like in the search for a new coach. We have the utmost respect for Thomas Tuchel. The club has to look for the new coach. We are very focussed on playing the season with Thomas Tuchel. The decision on Tuchel’s successor will be the right one in the end,“ said Kane in the press conference ahead of the Premier League clash.

Kane congratulates Leverkusen

Munich have had an occasionally disappointing season under Thomas Tuchel. Bayer Leverkusen have already been crowned German champions in the Bundesliga and the German record champions were eliminated in the second round of the DFB Cup. Despite the disappointments, the team is still doing well in the Champions League. Kane took the opportunity to send a message to German champions Bayer Leverkusen: „Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen on what they have achieved this season,“ he said. The 30-year-old striker added that Munich will learn from this season’s mistakes and draw conclusions for the next.

The players are aware of the importance of the upcoming games. The entire team is keen to put in a strong performance under Tuchel’s guidance. „We want to finish the season in the best possible way with him. The club is working in the background,“ emphasised Kane. The discussions about the coaching search must not distract the players, as there is a lot at stake – starting with a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
