PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé is the highest-paid footballer in Europe and probably in the world. Bayern striker Harry Kane is right behind the Frenchman, as has now been revealed.

The French sports newspaper „L’Equipe“ published a list of the top earners in Europe this week. Unsurprisingly, Kylian Mbappé tops the list. The 25-year-old already secured the top position last year.

According to „L’Equipe“, the attacker earns six million euros per month or an impressive 72 million euros per year. This is the gross basic salary, excluding bonus payments. Bayern star Harry Kane is in second place. The Englishman is said to earn €2.1 million per month or around €25.2 million per season. Third place goes to Kevin De Bruyne with 2.02 million euros.

Two ex-Bayern stars land in the top 10

David Alaba (€1.88 million/month) and Robert Lewandowski (€1.87 million/month) are two former Bayern players in the top 10.

Interestingly, the English Premier League has by far the most top earners with five games. Followed by the Spanish La Liga with two professionals.

The highest-paid footballer outside Europe is said to be Cristiano Ronaldo. According to rumours, CR7 receives around 71 million euros per season at the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr FC, narrowly beating Mbappe.
