Bayern are apparently preparing for a possible departure of Alphonso Davies and appear to have found another candidate for the left-back position.
According to Sky, 22-year-old Miguel Gutiérrez is a candidate for the Munich club. The left-back from FC Girona has made it onto FCB’s extended list with some impressive performances. the Spanish youth international has made 31 appearances, scored 1 goal and provided 6 assists in the league and cup so far.

In addition to his sporting quality, word of his rapid development at the surprise team from Spain has spread throughout Europe. Nevertheless, Theo Hernández (AC Milan) remains the top option to replace Davies should his move to Real Madrid materialise.
Gutiérrez, on the other hand, would be a cheaper option. Although his contract with the Catalans runs until 2027, the transfer fee would not be affected. The reason: the defender is said to have a release clause of 30 to 35 million euros.
