Michael Olise has long been one of FC Bayern’s biggest stars. With his outstanding performances, the Frenchman has also made a name for himself internationally. Now, the 24-year-old could take on a special role off the field. Sports apparel manufacturer Nike is apparently planning an extraordinary advertising campaign featuring the forward, one that will focus on his personality.
While many soccer stars draw attention to themselves through flashy promotional appearances and grand productions, Olise takes a different approach. The Bayern pro is considered exceptionally reserved and focuses primarily on his performance on the field.
It is precisely this trait that Nike apparently wants to leverage for its marketing. Instead of turning Olise into a classic advertising star, the Frenchman is to be presented in a deliberately authentic light.
Nike Plans a Special Role for Olise
As reported by Footy Headlines, a website specializing in soccer cleats, Nike wants to place the contrast between Olise’s quiet personality and his spectacular performances on the field at the center of a new campaign.
The Bayern Munich star is set to play a key role in the planned revival of the legendary Hypervenom shoe line.
The product line, which is primarily aimed at technically skilled and agile offensive players, is set to be relaunched in the summer of 2027.
According to the report, in addition to Olise, Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, and Alexia Putellas are also set to serve as prominent brand ambassadors. Haaland is expected to take on the role of global brand ambassador.
For Olise, the connection to the Hypervenom line is particularly interesting. The Frenchman has repeatedly worn the Nike Hypervenom Phantom III in the past, even though that model has long since gone out of regular production.
Olise could get his own shoe models

It’s also worth noting that Olise played for years without a permanent equipment sponsorship deal. While other top stars secured lucrative partnerships early on, the Bayern Munich pro stuck with his preferred cleats.
Nike could now specifically leverage this background for the new campaign.
According to Footy Headlines, it’s possible that Olise will receive special colorways of the Hypervenom line in the future. Whether the 24-year-old will even get his own signature models, however, remains to be seen.
An official confirmation of the specific campaign plans is also still pending.
For Nike, however, Olise would be a particularly interesting brand ambassador. The Frenchman is one of Europe’s most spectacular attacking players, yet off the field he largely avoids high-profile public appearances.
Rather than changing this reserved nature, the U.S. company apparently wants to make it a trademark.
This could allow Olise to rise to become one of the most important faces of his generation—not only on the field but also commercially.
