FC Bayern is being linked to a spectacular name. According to recent reports, the Munich club is monitoring the contract situation of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.
While FC Bayern officially announced its first summer transfer—Ismael Saibari—yesterday, Wednesday, a new transfer rumor is causing a stir. As transfer reporter Ekrem Konur reports, the German record champions are said to be closely monitoring Vinicius Junior’s situation at Real Madrid.
The Brazilian international’s contract runs through the summer of 2027. However, an extension currently appears to be proving difficult.
According to Konur, Vinicius is demanding a salary on par with Kylian Mbappé’s. Real Madrid is reportedly not yet willing to meet these financial demands.
Transfer highly unlikely for Bayern

According to the report, President Florentino Pérez is concerned about potentially losing the star forward on a free transfer in the long term. As a result, a sale this summer is reportedly no longer off the table internally.
Although FC Bayern is apparently monitoring the situation, a transfer currently seems unlikely.
Vinicius Junior’s market value currently stands at around 140 million euros. Should Real Madrid actually sell the Brazilian, the asking price is likely to be in that range. An investment of this magnitude is hardly in line with Munich’s current transfer plans.
Recently, there have been repeated reports of Real Madrid’s interest in Bayern star Michael Olise. Some media outlets have even speculated about a spectacular swap or a connection between the two players.
However, the club’s stance on this matter is clear. Bayern President Herbert Hainer recently made it unmistakably clear that Olise is not for sale.
“I’ve said this before: If Real President Florentino Pérez had that in mind, he can save himself the trouble, because we don’t want to sell Michael,” Hainer explained.
As things stand, there is therefore little to suggest that Vinicius Junior will move to FC Bayern—nor is there any indication that Michael Olise will leave Munich. Rather, this is currently just a rumor based on observations of a complicated contract situation in Madrid.
