Bayern Munich have reportedly lost the race against FC Barcelona for Andreas Christensen, the Danish defender will be joining the Catalans in the summer transfer window as a free agent. In the meantime, Bayern will have to look for other options.

According to German TV channel „SPORT1“, the Brazilian is the preferred alternative to Christensen for Bayern. Contrary to what Italian media claim, Matthias Ginter, who would be available for free and can clearly imagine a move in Munich, hasn’t been able to convince one hundred percent the Bayern board.

From the player’s environment, it is told that Ginter has not rejected nor accepted any offers. Despite losing out on Christensen, Ginter is not the first choice for Bayern.

Bremer has already been linked with a move to Bayern and there have already been a few talks conducted with the Brazilian over the past week, his low transfer fee of 15 million euros convinces the board that he could be the right solution.

Schlotterbeck is not convincing the board

German magazine „SportBild“ also reports that the club is not entirely convinced of Nico Schlotterbeck either. Since the record champions apparently have no real interest in the two German national players, Bremer should become the hottest candidate despite a transfer fee due in the summer.
