Comeback against PSG? Sadio Mané gives an update

Sadio Mané has made significant progress during his rehab in recent weeks. The 30-year-old Senegalese is on the verge of a comeback. However, a start against Paris Saint-Germain next week is still too early for the attacking player.

Mané suffered an injury to the head of his fibula shortly before the World Cup in Qatar and has already been out for almost three months. The attacker celebrated his comeback on the training pitch at the beginning of February and has significantly increased the intensity in recent days: „Today was great, but I was a bit exhausted. But that’s normal, so it’s all good,“ Mané told the club’s own media on Friday.

However, next week’s CL clash against Paris Saint-Germain comes too soon for Mané. According to his own statements, he will train with the team again in two weeks. Thus, the offensive all-rounder should be an option for Julian Nagelsmann again at the end of February.
