Julian Nagelsmann on the victory, injury of Kingsley Coman, Choupo Moting and etc

After a victory against TSG Hoffenheim, Julian Nagelsmann had an interview in which he gave his verdict about the game and some moments in it.

Here is what Nagelsmann had to say about the performance:

„I’m very happy with the performance today. It wasn’t an easy game. It was another step towards where we want to be. We played with a lot of passion in the first half, I think we won 71% of our duels, which is extremely good. We could’ve scored 4-5 goals. „In the second half, it was clear that Hoffenheim would take more risks and defend even higher. We slowed down a bit, which is understandable considering we have Barcelona and Mainz coming up. It was a mature performance and a deserved win“

On the injury of Kingsley Coman:

„He took a knock to his thigh. We subbed him off as a precaution. I don’t think it was a structural injury but we will see the results tomorrow.“

Choupo Moting scored another goal and journalist asked if he will start the game against Barcelona

„Choupo played a great game once again. He’s a great striker and we’re happy that we have him. He was tired in the end, because he is not used to this rhythm of starting consecutive games. We have to see how he’s doing by Wednesday“-said 34-year old coach
