The Dutchman has confirmed his move to the Bavarian club this Saturday and has signed the contract.
The deal is finally done. After weeks of negotiations with Ajax Amsterdam, Bayern have sealed their second summer signing. Ryan Gravenberch signed a 5-year contract with FC Bayern on Saturday and is set to strengthen the midfield in the future. After Noussair Mazraoui, Gravenberch is the second Ajax professional to move to Bayern this summer.
The 19-year-old Dutchman said the following statement in an interview with „BILD“: „Bayern is a big club. I think you have to win big titles here. And that’s also what I expect. I’m happy to be here in Munich now.” The official announcement of the transfer by the two clubs should be made a little bit later.
According to reports, Bayern will pay around 25 million euros for the Dutch international. In addition, Ajax is said to have secured a percentage in a resale value of 7.5 percent.
Gravenberch comes from the youth team of Ajax Amsterdam and made the leap from youth to professional football in the summer of 2019. Despite his young age, the central midfielder has made 103 appearances for the Dutch record champions (12 goals, 13 assists). 14 of them in the UEFA Champions League and six in the Europa League.
