In the search for a successor of Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich have been linked with numerous (big) names in recent weeks. Apparently, Harry Kane is the next name to have emerged as a replacement for Lewandowski.

According to kicker, Bayern Munich are willing to let go of Harry Kane provided they find a replacement who can guarantee scoring 30 goals per season. Transfer insider Alfredo Pedulla claims that Bayern are interested in England star Harry Kane.

According to Pedulla, Bayern Munich have already contacted Tottenham Hotspur to inquire about a transfer of the 29-year-old attacker in the summer, but the response was negative.

Kane’s contract with Spurs expires in 2024, and had already considered leaving the club sometime ago. At the time, Manchester City had a concrete interest and were willing to pay more than 150 million euros for the England international. However, Tottenham refused, arguing that the striker was not for sale. Spurs are trying to renew Kane’s contract, but the latter is reluctant and remains open to a move to a top European club where he can win trophies on a regular basis.

From a purely sporting point of view, Kane would undoubtedly be an exciting player, especially because he is a classic striker. Last season he had 37 goals in 50 games. Financially, however, a transfer for Bayern is unlikely to be manageable, which is mainly due to the fee. The salary, on the other hand, seems to be quite feasible. Rumor has it that Kane is currently making just under €13m at Tottenham.
