FC Bayern is set for its final tune-up before the first competitive match of the new season. On Tuesday, the Munich team will face 1. FC Heidenheim. But where can you watch the game live?
FC Bayern’s preseason is entering its decisive phase. Before a title is on the line for the first time this Saturday in the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup against Borussia Dortmund, Vincent Kompany’s team still has one final test ahead of them.
On Tuesday, the Munich team will visit 1. FC Heidenheim. Kickoff at the Voith-Arena is at 6 p.m. For Kompany, the match offers the last opportunity to work with his team under competitive conditions before the showdown with BVB.
Of particular interest: For the first time during this preseason, the Bayern coach has his entire squad at his disposal. Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Dayot Upamecano recently returned to Munich after an extended vacation and completed their fitness tests on Friday.
During Team Day on Monday, the three World Cup participants were back on the training field alongside their teammates. Against Heidenheim, Kane, Olise, and Upamecano could now get their first minutes of playing time this preseason and continue to work their way up to the fitness level of the rest of the team.

However, anyone who wants to watch the German record champions’ final tune-up match will need a paid subscription. The match will not be broadcast on free-to-air TV. There is also no free livestream available.
The friendly match will be shown exclusively on FC Bayern TV Plus. Coverage from the Voith-Arena begins at 5:50 p.m., ten minutes before kickoff. A paid subscription to the club’s own streaming service is required.

While Bayern is still in preseason, Heidenheim has already played two competitive matches. Following its relegation from the Bundesliga, FCH kicked off the new second-division season with a spectacular 4-3 home win against VfL Osnabrück.
Last weekend, however, they suffered a significant setback, losing 1-4 to Hertha BSC. Following the friendly against Bayern, their next challenge awaits on Sunday with the first round of the DFB Cup at SSV Jeddeloh.
For FC Bayern, on the other hand, the focus is already firmly on Saturday evening. At 8:30 p.m., they’ll face Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup. The match in Heidenheim will thus be Kompany’s final test before the season’s first competitive match.
