In defence, there is much to be said for a back four of Josip Stanisic, Dayot Upamecano, Minjae Kim and Hiroki Ito, with Alphonso Davies and Raphaël Guerreiro offering additional options. Manuel Neuer is set to start in goal
Kompany warns despite the clear starting position: „We always say that there are no easy Bundesliga games. They have a new coach, which brings a certain variability to the game. Football-wise, they haven’t done that badly, they just haven’t scored enough goals. If you look at the overall picture, they haven’t done as badly as you might think. It’s a good team that, when the confidence is there, is difficult to play against in every area. When there’s a new coach with the opposition, you have to be tactically flexible and pay even more attention to your strengths.“
