Superstar Kylian Mbappé’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season, with many signs pointing to a mega-transfer to Real Madrid. But Jamal Musiala is trying to lure the French goalscorer to FC Bayern.
Kylian Mbappé in an FC Bayern shirt – is that even conceivable? Apparently it is for FCB star Jamal Musiala. The 21-year-old has now tried to lure the top French striker to FC Bayern.
When asked in an interview with FC Bayern TV which club would be the best fit for Mbappé, Musiala replied with a laugh: „He can come to FC Bayern.“
Musiala continued: „If I could give him one piece of advice, then he should spend his time with us in Munich. He would strengthen any team. That’s why it’s better to have Mbappé in your team and not have to play against him.“
Mbappé: On the move to Real Madrid?
Musiala is not the first person at FC Bayern to think about Mbappé. Former chairman Oliver Kahn recently told Sport BILD: „Bayern can get a Harry Kane, and Bayern must look after an Erling Haaland. Bayern can also think about Kylian Mbappé. This thinking is important, because the club has earned this standing.“
Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel was also asked about a Bayern rumour about Mbappé last November. At the time, he replied: „If he wants to come, I’ll pick him up on my bike. I don’t think that’s realistic.“
Even if Mbappé becomes a free agent in the summer, signing the superstar would be a very expensive pleasure: At PSG, he is rumoured to earn the incredible sum of around 100 million euros per season.
Real Madrid, Bayern’s upcoming Champions League opponents, have been working on a Mbappé transfer for years. This summer, the deal should finally be finalised with the Whites.
