Bryan Zaragoza has hardly got a chance at FC Bayern so far. Whether the Spaniard is loaned out in the summer will depend largely on the new coach’s plans. In the event of his departure, Chris Führich could move to the German record champions.
The search for a new coach continues to dominate the headlines at FC Bayern. According to sporting director Max Eberl, Tuchel’s successor should be involved in the squad planning for next season. Accordingly, the new coach would like to be appointed as soon as possible.
This is because the future of various Bayern stars needs to be clarified in the coming weeks – including Alphonso Davies, Joshua Kimmich and Leroy Sané, whose contracts all expire in 2025.
However, new winter signing Bryan Zaragoza has also been repeatedly linked with a possible Bayern departure recently. The future of the winger is also said to depend above all on the plans of the future Bayern coach. The Spanish international is rumoured to be on loan.
Will Führich come as a replacement?
If Zaragoza is indeed loaned out in the summer, Bayern already have a replacement in their sights, according to Sky reports: Chris Führich from VfB Stuttgart. The German international has performed strongly this season and is said to have caught the eye of several top clubs.
According to Sky, Führich is confident of a move to Munich. However, an agreement is still a long way off. Here too, the decision on a possible transfer depends on the new FCB coach.
DFB star in high demand
However, FC Bayern appear to be anything but unrivalled in their bid for Führich. According to the latest reports, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also interested in the Stuttgart shooting star.
Führich’s contract with VfB Stuttgart runs until 2028, but thanks to a release clause, he will be able to leave the Swabians next summer for €23.5 million – if VFB miss out on qualifying for the Champions League, Führich will be even cheaper.
