FC Bayern is set to face Atlético Madrid in the Champions League. We’ll show you where you can watch the match live on TV and via stream on Tuesday.
FC Bayern faces another challenging task on Tuesday evening. On Matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage, the German record champions will take on Atlético Madrid. Kickoff at the Estadio Metropolitano is on November 3 at 9 p.m.
The Munich team is looking to secure another victory in the Champions League. After three matchdays, they have one win and two draws to their credit. With five points, FC Bayern sits in 14th place in the standings ahead of the match in Madrid. An away win would help improve their position in the race for direct qualification to the Round of 16.
Most recently, despite taking the lead twice, Bayern had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. In addition to the missed scoring opportunities, the record champions were particularly concerned afterward about new injuries.
Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry will not be available for the match in Madrid. Saibari has already undergone surgery for a torn syndesmotic ligament, while Gnabry is sidelined with a muscle injury. Jamal Musiala and Luis Díaz are also out. There is also a question mark regarding Michael Olise’s availability after he was substituted against Dortmund.
On the sidelines, Aaron Danks continues to take charge in place of Vincent Kompany, who is ill. Despite the tight personnel situation, Kompany’s stand-in remains determined and is counting on the remaining options in the squad.
For its part, Atlético heads into the match with four points from three Champions League games. Diego Simeone’s team is thus right behind Munich and could move ahead of FC Bayern with a home win.
