Harry Kane has won the 2026 Ballon d’Or. FC Bayern is celebrating its striker with a golden Allianz Arena and a special commemorative jersey.
FC Bayern has responded to Harry Kane’s historic Ballon d’Or triumph with several special initiatives. After the Englishman was named the world’s best soccer player on Monday evening in London, the German record champions first lit up the Allianz Arena in gold. Now comes the next tribute.
FC Bayern is offering a special Kane jersey in honor of its striker. The current home jersey is available in the official fan shop with a special design: Kane’s No. 9 appears in gold instead of the usual white.
The promotion reflects the significance of the evening for the club. Kane narrowly edged out Kylian Mbappé of Real Madrid and Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona in the Ballon d’Or voting, winning the award for the first time in his career. For FC Bayern, this success is also historic: for the first time since Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in 1981, the club has once again produced the Ballon d’Or winner.
Immediately after the results were announced, the Allianz Arena was illuminated in gold to match the trophy. A similar tribute took place in London: the arch at Wembley Stadium also glowed gold to congratulate Kane on his success.
FC Bayern Celebrates Kane’s Historic Triumph
For the Munich club, the Ballon d’Or victory is far more than just an individual award for their striker. In his acceptance speech, Kane explicitly emphasized the role his team and everyone around him at FC Bayern have played in his development.
“Without my teammates, this wouldn’t have been possible. The way you drive me forward and how we push each other to peak performance means a great deal to me,” Kane explained on stage in London. He also emphasized: “It’s an honor to play for FC Bayern. Representing you is a true privilege. I’m very happy to bring this trophy back to FC Bayern.”

The 33-year-old also had special words for Vincent Kompany, who remains in the hospital receiving treatment following his collapse. Kane said: “I hope this victory gives you a little strength.”
FC Bayern then celebrated the victory in style. President Herbert Hainer called it a “proud day” for the club, while sporting director Max Eberl described Kane as an “asset” to the club.
With the special gold emblem, FC Bayern is now making a visual statement as well. Following the lighting of the Allianz Arena, Kane’s historic triumph thus receives another visible tribute—matching the color of the Ballon d’Or.
