FC Bayern is determined to secure Michael Olise on a long-term contract. If he signs an extension, the Frenchman is reportedly set to become the club’s highest-paid player.
The next mega-contract is on the horizon at FC Bayern. According to information from Sky, the Munich club is preparing for upcoming talks with Michael Olise and intends to do everything in its power to keep the French attacking star at the club beyond 2029.
Bayern is reportedly prepared to take extraordinary financial measures to make this happen. According to Sky, if his contract is extended, Olise would become the club’s highest-paid player. This would mean the 24-year-old would even surpass Jamal Musiala in the internal salary hierarchy, who is currently reported to earn around 25 million euros gross per year.
Olise is currently under contract with FC Bayern through 2029. While there is no immediate time pressure, club officials apparently want to clarify the situation early on. A meeting with the Frenchman’s representatives recently took place, though concrete contract negotiations were not yet the focus.
Real Madrid also apparently expects Olise to extend his contract
Of particular interest is the assessment coming out of Madrid. According to Sky, Real Madrid officials continue to closely monitor the situation surrounding Olise. However, they reportedly expect the Frenchman to extend his contract with FC Bayern.
The Munich club is likely pleased to hear this assessment. Since his move from Crystal Palace, Olise has developed into one of the most important players on Vincent Kompany’s team and is now one of the key figures in the offense.
As early as this summer, there were reports of a possible rise to the very top of the salary scale. At the time, there was talk of figures that could even see Olise surpass Harry Kane and Musiala. The new information from Sky now confirms, at least in principle, that the Frenchman is set to be among the highest-paid players should he sign an extension.

});
})();
For Bayern, a new contract would also send a strong signal to international rivals. Real Madrid and other top European clubs are repeatedly linked with Olise. However, the Munich club considers the attacking star unsellable and wants to make him one of the faces of the team for the long term.
There are plenty of reasons for this from a sporting perspective. Under Kompany, Olise has long since matured into a world-class player and was recently explicitly described as such by the Bayern coach. At the same time, at 24, the Frenchman is still at an age where further development is possible.
Bayern’s message is therefore clear: Olise should stay—and the club is apparently willing to make that clear on his pay stub as well.
