FC Bayern officials are satisfied with the current roster. Nevertheless, the record champions know how quickly things can change. That’s why they’re constantly monitoring the transfer market. A new target has now apparently emerged.
That target is Tarik Muharemovic, the Leeds United defender. According to information from TEAMtalk, FC Bayern is one of the big clubs showing interest in the player.
The 23-year-old moved to England from Sassuolo just this past July for a fee of around 34 million pounds. He has quickly settled in and is playing a key role. He combines physicality with a very forward-thinking style of play, making him a thoroughly modern defender.
FC Bayern: Muharemovic would be expensive
Bayern Munich wants to be prepared in case changes are needed in the defense. That’s why they’re keeping a close eye on the transfer market; Finn Jeltsch of VfB Stuttgart and Benfica star Tomas Araujo have also recently been linked with Bayern.
Especially if Minjae Kim were to leave, a top-class defender would need to join Munich. Rumors about a transfer continue to swirl around Kim , even though a deal this winter seems rather unlikely.

Muharemovic, who has already made 21 international appearances for Bosnia, has played seven times for Leeds this season. Since he is under contract with the team coached by German manager Daniel Farke through 2031, the situation at Leeds is largely considered to be relaxed. A transfer would only be possible if a high transfer fee were paid.
The player is said to have impressed the Munich club’s management; the interest is genuine, and it’s reported that a serious attempt at a transfer could take place by the summer of 2027 at the latest. However, by then, the competition will have organized itself accordingly and make it difficult for FCB to seal a deal.
