FC Bayern Munich has made three permanent signings this summer. The club currently has no plans for further signings but is always keeping an eye on the market for exciting opportunities. One player in particular seems to be in the spotlight.
That player is Dario Osorio, who currently plays for FC Midtjylland in Denmark. The 22-year-old is considered a major talent and is being scouted by several clubs. According to a report by the Danish media outlet Bold , FC Bayern is among them.
The record champions are said to have sent scouts to several of the attacking player’s matches. Osorio is one of the cornerstones of FC Midtjylland’s play. Manchester City has also scouted the skilled dribbler on multiple occasions.
Osorio could make a move soon
Neither FC Bayern nor Man City has contacted the player’s camp this summer to discuss a transfer. Other clubs also have Osorio on their radar, but it’s unclear whether a real transfer battle for him will ensue before the end of the transfer window.
“Darío Osorio is the great hope of Chilean soccer. Unlike a few years ago, Chile doesn’t have many players in Europe, and he is the latest big talent. Therefore, he is expected to move to one of the top leagues,” Pablo Vera, a journalist for the Chilean newspaper AS, told Bold.

In the 2025–26 season, the Chilean contributed 18 points for Midtjylland. In recent years, he has steadily developed in the right direction. It remains to be seen whether he can take another step forward in the Danish league or whether he needs tougher competition.
What’s clear is that he could be an interesting backup option for teams like FC Bayern or Manchester City. Right now, however, it looks more like this won’t be on the table until winter at the earliest, because time in this transfer window is slowly but surely running out.
