However, since there is no medical risk in sending Musiala onto the field, his comeback is expected to take place following the successful adjustment of his medication.
Kompany Impressed by Musiala’s Performances
And there are encouraging signs, both for Musiala and for Bayern. And that doesn’t just mean that it’s realistic to get his health issues completely under control again with the right medication.
According to a report in Sport BILD, Vincent Kompany, in particular, has no doubt that Musiala will be in better form this season than he was in 2025–26 following his serious injury.
The two are in frequent contact. In a personal conversation, Kompany even told his player that, in terms of his soccer skills, this is the best Musiala he has seen since taking over as Bayern’s coach in the summer of 2024. This aligns with other reports suggesting that his preseason preparations—prior to the two setbacks—were going extremely well.
Kompany is therefore fully committed to Musiala and supports him in every way he can. Musiala remains an integral part of the club’s plans, even though everyone knows that patience is required.
