FC Bayern is working flat out to sign Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari. But before the Munich club can finally make a move in the transfer market, it first needs to generate revenue. Several players are therefore considered potential transfer targets.
The direction at FC Bayern is clear: Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari are set to be the first major signings of the summer.
While talks with Eintracht Frankfurt and PSV Eindhoven have recently made significant progress, the financial side of both transfers remains a challenge. Both clubs are demanding around 60 million euros each for their star players. In Brown’s case, Bayern are reportedly even willing to pay up to 65 million euros.
This would bring the total package for Brown and Saibari well over 100 million euros. That is precisely why club officials are working intensively on the sales side in parallel.
The record champions have already generated their first revenue with Daniel Peretz. The goalkeeper moved to Southampton FC for around eight million euros.
But that’s not all.
According to information from kicker, half a dozen Bayern pros are currently on the list of potential sale candidates.
Boey, Zaragoza, and Palhinha are expected to leave
Among the players expected to leave the club are Sacha Boey, Bryan Zaragoza, and João Palhinha.
According to the report, there is concrete interest in Palhinha in particular. Tottenham Hotspur and his former club Sporting Lisbon are closely monitoring the Portuguese international’s situation.
Alexander Nübel also remains a potential transfer target. Although the national team goalkeeper is currently on Germany’s World Cup roster, he has no long-term prospects as the number one in Munich.
The situation on the defensive side is particularly interesting. According to reports, Bayern would be open to talks regarding Min-jae Kim and Hiroki Ito for a transfer fee between 20 and 25 million euros.
A sale of either of these two defenders could create additional financial flexibility while also freeing up space in the squad.
Kim is sticking to his contract

Min-jae Kim appears to be a problem in this regard. The South Korean feels at home in Munich and earns a salary in the tens of millions. According to information from kicker, he has so far shown little willingness to give up his financial terms.
This makes a potential transfer complicated.
The situation is somewhat different for Hiroki Ito. The Japanese player has suffered tremendous injury misfortune since joining FC Bayern. After his third metatarsal fracture, he was sidelined for months and was never able to establish himself under Vincent Kompany.
Brown and Saibari remain the priority
Regardless of potential sales, Munich’s strategy remains unchanged. Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari remain at the top of Max Eberl and Vincent Kompany’s wish list. Intensive negotiations are continuing for both players.
However, one thing is clear: the more revenue Bayern generates from sales, the greater the financial leeway for the two desired transfers.
The coming weeks are therefore likely to be exciting not only in terms of incoming transfers. There could also be some movement soon regarding departures at Säbener Straße.
